All guests, registered or invited by a registered guest, are subject to the following policies:
Check out time is 11:00 a.m. Late check-outs must be prearranged and are subject to room availability. There may be an additional charge for late check-outs.
Smoking Policy: All rooms, without exception, are non-smoking. At minimum, smoking in any room will incur an additional cleaning fee no less than one night’s stay plus tax.
Damage Policy: Ecola Creek Lodge (hereinafter “the Lodge”) reserves the right to maintain a registered guest’s credit card information on file for a reasonable amount of time, not less than 30 days, and to make any charges to that card which in its sole discretion the Lodge deems necessary to compensate the Lodge for the costs of repair or replacement for any damage or loss sustained by the Lodge either through the direct or indirect actions of a registered guest or any member of the guest’s party, whether staying with the registered guest or visiting temporarily, (hereinafter cumulatively referred to as “the Guest”). This policy shall be in effect regardless of how the damage or loss was sustained, whether caused by a deliberate act, recklessness, or negligence of the Guest.
This policy shall include without limitation all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fees, extra cleaning fees, theft, tampering with safety equipment or fees for unregistered pets. This policy shall include any damage discovered after the Guest has departed the Lodge. The Lodge reserves the right to charge up to 150% of the costs of repair or replacement. The Lodge will make every effort to minimize any necessary fees and will, if appropriate, provide the Guest with an itemized invoice of charges at the Lodge’s earliest opportunity after all repairs and replacements are finished.
Pet Policy: Only dogs are allowed on Ecola Creek Lodge property. All dogs accompanying guests must be registered at the front desk and are subject to additional fees. If any evidence of any pet, including dogs, is found in a non-pet friendly room an additional charge will be added to the Guest’s credit card of one night’s stay plus tax. Additional fees may occur, including those fees listed in the above Damage Policy, if a guest brings or allows a pet other than a dog during a registered stay or brings an unregistered dog.
Ecola Properties, LLC is not responsible for damage or injury to persons or theft or loss of valuables of any kind, including money or jewelry. All guests are encouraged to secure any valuables and keep rooms and vehicles locked at all times.

As the Owner/caretaker of the above-named dog(s) I agree that my dog(s) are gentle, well domesticated and have no vicious propensities. Please, No puppies!
I agree that my dog(s) will not be left unattended in my room at any time and will remove them from the room during ‘housekeeping service’. If my dog cannot be removed during this time, I will arrange with the housekeepers to return at a more suitable time when we will be away from the room.
While my dog(s) are in any public space outside the Lodge I agree to keep them on a leash and supervised, or in a carrying container at all times as required by the Cannon Beach pet ordinance. Please don’t leave your dogs in the car!
I also agree to walk & exercise my dog in appropriate areas [i.e. the beach], avoiding private property and to clean up any messes my pet may leave behind as also required by ordinance.
Should my dog(s) become objectionable or disturb other guests [i.e. barking]; I agree that I will remove my dog(s) promptly from the Lodge upon request, if an acceptable compromise cannot be met. I also agree to cover the expense of reimbursement to any guest who was disturbed by my dog(s).
I agree to pay the $20.00+tax nightly charge per dog to Ecola Creek Lodge at the time of check-in. Note: We allow a maximum of two smaller dogs or one large dog (90+lbs) per reservation.
I agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Ecola Creek Lodge, its owners, agents and employees from any and all liability related to any personal injury or property damage caused by my dog(s).
I accept full responsibility for any and all liability claims, losses, costs and expense, including reasonable attorney’s fees for personal property damage caused by my dog(s), and Iagree to make reimbursement for such damages on demand.
